An update of the 205TS, the Mil-tek 2205 is fully compliant with EN16500 safety standards. The 2205 baler has a small footprint of around 41cm², but features a long vertical pressing chamber. The means that the 2205 baler can create a bale almost twice the size of a model 2102 while covering a similarly small floor space.
The safety and the operational features makes the EN16500-compliant machines not only our safest ever machines, but also our fastest: the 2205 has a full pressing cycle of around 7 seconds.
Like all of the EN16500-compliant machines, the Mil-tek 2205 baler is powered exclusively by compressed air. Not only does this make the 2205 free of electrical and hydraulic components,This means a pneumatic baler uses dramatically less power than a hydraulic baler. Running on just 8 bars of pressure, the 2205 baler boasts patented ECO-Drive technology that balances the amount of pressure required by the with each stroke, and applying constant compacting pressure without increasing power usage.

A Mil-tek technician connect your new 2205 baler to a compressed air supply. You can start baling straight away.
Fill the chamber with cardboard or plastic and close the door. The door handle acts as a safety, only activating once it is securely full. Keep an eye on the bale-out indicator so you can tell when the baler is full.
When the bale-out indicator stays red, the 2205 is ready to be emptied. Tie the banding using a loop-knot, open the lower door and release the bale. You are now ready to start a new bale!

As they are air-powered (pneumatic) rather than hydraulic, Mil-tek balers are extremely quiet. The 2205 has a noise level less than 70 db(A).
If you have an existing air-line you simply plug the machine and then your existing compressor acts as the engine. If you need to have a compressor installed, a Mil-tek technician will ensure that the compressor is placed at a distance from the machine and then install an air-hose between the compressor and the 2205 baler.
