For busy bars, restaurants and others in the hospitality sector, waste glass bottles can present a major headache. The GC600 eliminates many of these potential challenges. Huge volumes of bottles can be minimized by up to 80% in just minutes, a significant saving on space. Crushing glass before it is collected also removes the intrusive noise of glass bottles being emptied from a container into a collection truck.
Ensure you have the correct safety equipment to protect yourself while operating the machine. If in doubt, consult the user manual.
Bottles can be fed several at a time into the funnel. An extractor removes any glass dust to further protect users.
Crushed glass is collected in a wheel bin housed inside the unit. Open the door to remove the bin.
Ensure you are wearing protective gear. Consult the user manual for detailed instructions.
Activate the machine via the start button, which starts both the blades and the dust extractor.
Feed bottles into the funnel. A rotating blade inside the chamber smashes and crushes the glass.
Larger pieces remain in the chamber until they are broken down further.
The crushed glass (cullet) is collected below in a 140L wheel bin, housed inside the unit.
It is advised that you check the bin intermittently to avoid overfilling and ensure the bin can be collected.
The GC600 can crush up to 4000 bottles in an hour.
A 140 litre bin has a capacity for around 680 1-litre bottles, However, be sure to check the capacity of the wheel bin below the machine, as this must be able to bear the weight of the crushed glass, as well as (potentially) being hydraulically lifted by truck. If in doubt, refer to your user manual or contact your recycler.
Easy! Simply fill 2-3 bottles with soapy water, and drop them in as normal. The soap will clean the chamber, and the liquid will drain off into the bin below.
Inside the chamber, an additional motor is running attached to a tube. This operates like a vacuum cleaner, sucking up any excess dust from the glass and feeding it off into a separately housed filter.
Bars, pubs and clubs handling large volumes of bottles on a daily basis can enjoy a range of benefits from the GC600.
Ideal for installation in the store room or waste room, the GC600 can crush up to 4000 bottles in an hour, representing a hygienic and neat solution to a daily battle.
For busy hotels and restaurants, the GC600 presents an elegant solution to a daily problem: where and how to store the massive amount of bottles used.
Boasting volume reduction of up to 80%, is a significant save saver, and makes for a neater, tidier workplace.
